An SKSE plugin that fixes a long list of engine bugs and adds the small quality-of-life switches the engine should have had, all toggleable from one INI.
A single SKSE plugin carrying dozens of independent fixes and tweaks, every one of which can be switched off in its INI. Nothing here is a plugin file, so it costs no load order slot and conflicts with nothing.
WHAT IS IN IT
Engine bug fixes: incorrect gold values on trained skills, broken sitting and furniture behaviour, load door teleport failures, sound and animation event leaks, first-person camera glitches, and a long tail of small correctness problems in the Papyrus and rendering paths.
Quality of life: configurable auto-save behaviour, control over the loading screen and main menu, adjustable dialogue and camera settings, and switches for engine defaults that the game exposes nowhere.
The author maintains this alongside a family of other SKSE frameworks that much of the modern Skyrim scene is built on. Because everything is INI-driven, the honest way to use it is to read the INI once and turn off anything you did not ask for.
ABOUT THIS LISTING
This page describes powerofthree's Tweaks by powerofthree. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on GitHub on 14 August 2026: https://github.com/powerof3/po3-Tweaks
Mythiq hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on github.com, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.
The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq only. The source's own figures are not copied here — they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.
Requirements
SKSE IS REQUIRED
This is an SKSE plugin. Without the Skyrim Script Extender installed and the game launched through it, the DLL is never loaded and nothing here happens.
MATCH THE GAME VERSION
SKSE plugins are compiled against a specific Skyrim runtime. Check the build you download matches the game version you are running — this is the single most common reason an SKSE plugin does nothing.
READ THE INI
Everything is optional and a good deal of it is off by default. The INI is the mod.
Installation
1. Install SKSE first and confirm the game launches through it.
2. Download the archive on this page and install it with your mod manager as a normal mod.
3. Open the INI it ships and set the fixes and tweaks you want.
4. Launch the game through SKSE, not through the Skyrim launcher.
AFTER A GAME UPDATE
A Skyrim patch breaks every SKSE plugin until they are rebuilt. Check for a new build here and a new SKSE before assuming something else is at fault.
This release downloads from github.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
