Wan's Wonder Weapons adds a set of unique weapons — the author calls them relics — each with its own mechanic rather than a different damage number. Elemental effects, dark magic, and several that are frankly ridiculous on purpose.
WHAT IT ADDS
Weapons that do something rather than hit harder: area effects, status application, movement, transformation. They are built to be found and experimented with rather than crafted to a recipe, and the set is added to over time.
It is the most-downloaded gameplay mod in Hytale's CurseForge section and a good example of what the early access modding API is already capable of — custom item behaviour, effects and interactions, not just reskins.

CLIENT AND SERVER
This mod adds items and behaviour, so it must be installed on the server as well as the client for multiplayer. A client-only install on a server that does not have it will not work.
CONFLICTS WITH
Other mods that redefine the same combat behaviours. Weapon mods generally coexist.
BALANCE
Deliberately not balanced against vanilla. That is the intent, not an oversight.
Installation
THROUGH THE CURSEFORGE APP (recommended)
Install from the CurseForge page.
MANUAL
1. Download the archive from CurseForge.
2. Place it in your Hytale mods folder.
3. For multiplayer, place the same file in the server's mods folder. Versions must match.
4. Launch and check the mod list.
