World of Warcraft Bags & inventory

ArkInventory

Overview

Allows you to view all items from all your characters on the same account, when-ever and where-ever you want.

ArkInventory (for Retail, Classic, Burning Crusade, and, Mists of Pandaria)

ArkInventory's display windows are built from "virtual bars", you assign categories to bars so that items in that category are displayed on the specific bars you want. There is no limit to the number of bars you can have inside a window but obviously you only have so much screen real estate before it becomes "too many".

ArkInventory uses several methods to assign a default category to an item such as what professions you have, tooltip scanning, basic type/subtype and PeriodicTable. You then assign those categories to a virtual bar.

You can also over-ride the default category by creating a rule that matches either a single or multiple items.

πŸ’₯ Please ensure you check the latest alpha versions for any new releases when using an alpha, beta, or PTR client.

- separate keybindings for each location for easy viewing

πŸ’₯ The NoLib variant

it seems quite a few people are somehow getting the NoLib variant from their download client when they didn't specifically ask for it, instead of the fullΒ variant, and its causing issues as they don't have the required libraries installed separately.Β  Please ensure you are downloading the full.Β  if you see nolib in the filename then its the wrong variant, unless you are actually installing all of the required libraries separately as well.Β  If you have to you can manually download the full variant from CurseForge, WoWInterface, or Wago.

πŸ’₯ Junk Sell getting blocked

While auto-destroy remains blocked, From 30960 onwards you can setup aΒ Key Binding to manually sell and destroy your items.Β  Note that blizzard require one keypress per item deletion, so if you have multiple items that need to be deleted you will need to press the Key Binding multiple times.Β  A message will be output if you have remaining items that can still be deleted.

⚠️ Ensure you have backup copies of your saved variables file

Sometimes you cannot revert back to a previous version without a backup, especially alpha or beta versions, soΒ before upgrading please make sure you have made a backup of your saved variables file

Your saved variables file is normally located at ...\World of Warcraft\_client_\WTF\Account\yourwowaccountname\SavedVariables\ArkInventory.lua

It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate backups of your saved variables file. You dont have to do them frequently, just after you've made major changes to your config is probably fine for most people, but you should get into the habit of making backups because when it does corrupt you wont have to reconfigure everything from scratch.

If you have your download client set to automatically download alpha/beta versions you should definitely have backups.

A simple way to back up the saved variables file is to just do a copy and paste then rename the new file (using the version number of ArkInventory or the date is a good idea), eg ArkInventory-30900.lua, or ArkInventory-20191228.lua

ABOUT THIS LISTING

This page describes ArkInventory by Arkayenro. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on CurseForge on 3 October 2026: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/ark-inventory

Mythiq.net hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on edge.forgecdn.net, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.

The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq.net only. The source's own figures are not copied here β€” they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.

GAME FLAVOUR

This is a retail (modern World of Warcraft) build. It will not work in the Classic clients, which run a different interface API.

INTERFACE VERSION

Built against game version 5.5.4, 12.1.0, 2.5.6, 1.15.9. After a patch, an addon that has not been updated is flagged out of date; most keep working, and the "Load out of date AddOns" checkbox on the character screen lets you try.

DEPENDENCIES

Some addons need a separate library addon (Ace3, LibStub and friends) that is not bundled. If the addon does not appear in the list in game, a missing dependency is the usual reason.

Installation

1. Quit World of Warcraft completely. The game reads the AddOns folder at launch and will overwrite settings for an addon added while it is running.

2. Download the archive with the button on this page and unzip it.

3. Move the folder β€” the one with the .toc file in it, not the zip's wrapper folder β€” into:

World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns

4. Start the game. On the character selection screen, click AddOns and check that it is listed and enabled.

IF IT DOES NOT APPEAR

Nine times out of ten the folder is nested one level too deep. Interface/AddOns/Thing/Thing/Thing.toc will not load; Interface/AddOns/Thing/Thing.toc will.

UPDATING

Delete the old folder before unzipping the new one. Unzipping over the top leaves files behind that the new version no longer expects.

This release downloads from edge.forgecdn.net, not from us, so there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
