Shutoko Revival Project

Overview

A 1:1 recreation of Tokyo's Shuto Expressway — the definitive open-road track for Assetto Corsa.

Shutoko Revival Project is a full-scale recreation of the Shuto Expressway, the elevated toll road network that runs through and around Tokyo. It is the most ambitious open-road track project Assetto Corsa has, and by a distance the most played.

WHAT IT IS

Not a circuit — a road network. Hundreds of kilometres of connected expressway with real junctions, real exits, parking areas, tunnels and the city built around it, laid out to match the actual road. You can drive from one side of it to the other, take an exit you have never taken, and end up somewhere that corresponds to a real place.

It is built for CSP throughout: working traffic, time of day, weather, tunnel lighting and the night look the road is famous for all depend on Custom Shaders Patch features. It also anchors a large online scene — public SRP servers with traffic and free roam are among the busiest Assetto Corsa servers running.

The project releases in numbered versions and ships as a large download; parking areas and sections are added and reworked over time rather than the whole map changing at once.

The project publishes no public download total, so this page shows none — the zero is an absence of data, not a measurement.

Requirements

Game versions
  • CSP 0.2.x
  • Assetto Corsa 1.16.4
REQUIRES CSP

Custom Shaders Patch is mandatory, not optional. Without it the track loads in a badly degraded state — no working traffic, wrong lighting, missing effects — and the version of CSP matters. Check the release notes for the build the current SRP version targets.

RECOMMENDED

Content Manager for installation, and a traffic layout or server if you want the road populated.

PERFORMANCE

This is a very large and very dense track. It is the heaviest thing most Assetto Corsa installs will load, particularly at night with traffic and rain.

DISK

The download is several gigabytes. Budget for it.

Installation

1. Install Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch first. SRP will not work correctly without CSP.

2. Download the current release from shutokorevivalproject.com.

3. Drag the archive onto Content Manager, which will place it correctly. Alternatively extract it into assettocorsa\content\tracks.

4. Check the release notes for the minimum CSP version and update CSP if you are behind.

5. In Content Manager, pick the layout you want — the project ships several covering different sections and directions.

ONLINE

Most public SRP servers expect a specific SRP version. If a server rejects you, it is almost always a version mismatch rather than a missing file.

This release downloads from shutokorevivalproject.com, not from us, so there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
