A comprehensive audio overhaul: tyres, suspension, weather, refuelling, trains and level crossings, all without touching your truck's engine sound.
Sound Fixes Pack replaces and extends a large part of Euro Truck Simulator 2's audio, and has been updated continuously for close to a decade. It is one of the few large mods that is genuinely safe to add to almost any setup, because of a deliberate design decision: it does not replace player truck engine sounds.
WHAT IT CHANGES
Suspension and tyre bump sounds for trucks and trailers, so road surface is something you hear as well as feel. A reworked fuel station sequence with the full stop-refuel-belt-up chain rather than a single sample. Rain and thunder rebuilt, with wet tyre sound that tracks the weather. Country-specific level crossing bells and train sounds. Reworked AI traffic audio, tyre blowouts, and a long list of small environmental fixes.
BECAUSE IT LEAVES ENGINES ALONE
You can run it alongside any number of truck sound mods without conflict — which is why it appears in almost every recommended mod list for the game, and why it works in Convoy multiplayer as well as single player.
The same pack covers both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, and the Steam Workshop copy updates itself.

LOAD ORDER
Place Sound Fixes Pack at or near the TOP of your load order, above map and traffic mods. Anything above it can overwrite its sound definitions silently.
WORKS WITH
All maps, all trucks including truck mods, and any engine sound mod — the pack does not define player engine sounds. Supported in single player and in Convoy multiplayer.
CONFLICTS WITH
Other broad environmental sound packs. Running two at once means whichever loads last wins, and the result is usually a mix of both with no clear reason why.
SAVE GAMES
Safe to add or remove at any time. It defines no gameplay data, so nothing in a profile depends on it.
Installation
STEAM WORKSHOP (recommended)
Subscribe on the Workshop and the pack downloads and updates itself. Enable it in the in-game Mod Manager and move it to the top of the list.
