Drive from a random position to another random position, via a random vehicle!
This mod is in a maintenance state where it's no longer being actively developed - patches will continue to keep what is there in working order with the game.
Pseudo Random Tour is based on a scenario pack by Scepheo a many number of years ago - simply go from one random part of the map to another using a random vehicle.
This mod uses a custom scenario start screen to allow you to customise and track your journeys. You can also set your desired journey length and save and load any routes you want.
The scenarios will randomly assign you a car (works with modded cars too), at a random time of day and a random place on the map. To help you navigate around, a road indicator is overlayed on the road to help you find the next waypoint, if it is less easy to find (the map of waypoints usually help you with intersections on where to go next). Scenarios also come in sunny, light rain, light snow, heavy rain and heavy snow varieties to spice up the scenarios.
You also have a modified map to help you find your way around as well as being able to see where checkpoints are.
You can customise many aspects of each route, including:
- Traffic
- Road indicator
- Whether to always be sunny
- Keep the current vehicle
There are also a set of achievements, with 4 levels to them for a small target, should you wish to try to obtain them (all progress is saved in a file in your BeamNG directory).
If you don't like your car choice, you can generate a new route and it will give you a new random vehicle.
Finally, you can also generate these scenarios for modded maps, by clicking the button on the UI at the top right. Simply find the map and click "generate scenario" and then load it up.
Enjoy

ABOUT THIS LISTING
This page describes Pseudo Random Tour by Darthbob555. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on the BeamNG.drive repository on 31 August 2026: https://www.beamng.com/resources/pseudo-random-tour.12432/
Mythiq.net hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on beamng.com, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.
The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq.net only. The source's own figures are not copied here — they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.

Requirements
BeamNG.drive on a current build. The repository lists a mod as outdated once it stops loading, but a mod written for an older release can still misbehave quietly rather than fail outright — check the resource page for the author's own compatibility note before reporting a fault.
Nothing else is required unless the author says so above. BeamNG mods are self-contained zip archives; there is no loader or framework to install first.
Installation
1. Download the archive with the button on this page. Do NOT unzip it — BeamNG loads mods as zips.
2. Put the zip in your mods folder:
Windows — Documents\BeamNG.drive\\mods
Linux — ~/.local/share/BeamNG.drive//mods
3. Start the game and open the Mod Manager from the main menu to confirm it is listed and active.
4. Vehicles appear in the vehicle selector; maps appear under Freeroam.
UPDATING
Delete the old zip before adding the new one. Two versions of the same mod in the folder is the usual cause of a vehicle appearing twice, or of parts that will not fit together.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS WRONG
Clear the cache: in the Mod Manager, use "Clear cache and restart". Most oddities after an update — missing textures, parts that vanish — are a stale cache rather than a broken mod.
This release downloads from beamng.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
