Faster Travel adds two new tabs to the default world map information/navigation control and suggests approximately the closest known wayshrines to your current quest objectives.
Adds favourite wayshrines!
Also supports Cyrodiil campaigns and Transitus Wayshrines including queuing, entering, travelling and tooltip display!
PLAYERS TAB (free travel)
Lets you easily teleport to:
- players in your group
- players on your friends list
- zones using players on your friends list, in your group or guild
- players in any of your guilds
(you land at the wayshrine closest to your friend/guildmate's position)
Zones where you have surveys, antiquity leads or treasure maps are prefixed with green +, cyan >, or yellow * respectively, and suffixed with the number of treasure, antiquity and survey locations for maps/leads you have (please note: locations, not maps, so if you have three surveys pointing to the same location, the number is 1, not 3).
WAYSHRINES TAB (paid travel)
Marks the closest known wayshrine to your quests with the quest's icon from the map (when it is possible to obtain the data).
Displays quest objective tooltips when the mouse is over quest icons.
Numbers in magenta denote how many guild traders are close to every wayshrine.
Lets you fast travel to:
- a recently used wayshrine
- a favourite wayshrine
- a wayshrine in the current zone
- a wayshrine in another zone
- a wayshrine from an alphabetically sorted list
(normal costs apply to all the above, if you're not travelling from another wayshrine)
- a random wayshrine on the current map.
Right-click on wayshrines in this menu to add or remove favourites.
SLASH COMMANDS
/ft zoneName - attempts to teleport to a zone via a player (zoneName can be partial)
/ft zone - if zoneName is literally "zone", use current zone name
/ft @PlayerName - attempts to teleport to a player
/ft CharacterName - attempts to teleport a player using their character name
/ft group - attempts to teleport to the group leader (or a random member of your group if you are the leader)
/ft UnitTag - attempts to teleport to a group member using their unit tag (group1, group2 etc.)
For all of the above you can use /goto instead of /ft (for backward compatibility).
/ft alias name zonename - defines an alias "name" pointing to "zonename", so that if you use:
/ft alias fen Shadowfen
you can then go to Shadowfen with "/ft fen"
/ft alias name - removes a previously defined alias "name"
/ft alias - lists defined aliases
/ft verbosity n - sets verbosity level to n, where:
n = 0 - quiet (almost no messages in chat)
n = 1 - normal verbosity level (default)
n = 2 - a bit more verbose
n > 2 - for debugging only
/ft verbosity - shows verbosity level
/ft recents on|off - turns on/off your "Recent" list
/ft listlen n - sets the max length of "Recent" list to n, where 0

Game version
12.1.0
API VERSION
Built for ESO API version 12.1.0. After a patch the game marks add-ons built for the previous API as out of date; the "Allow out of date add-ons" checkbox in the add-on menu loads them anyway, and most work.
LIBRARIES
Many ESO add-ons depend on a shared library — LibAddonMenu-2.0 above all — which is installed separately, exactly like an add-on. A dependency that is missing shows as the add-on simply not appearing in the list.
CONSOLE
Add-ons are PC and Mac only. There is no way to load them on console.
Installation
1. Download the archive with the button on this page and unzip it.
2. Move the unzipped folder into your add-ons directory:
Windows — Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
3. Start the game, and at the character select screen click Add-Ons.
4. Tick the add-on. If it is greyed out and marked out of date, tick "Allow out of date add-ons" at the top of the same panel.
5. Log in. Most add-ons need a /reloadui after they are first enabled.
UPDATING
Delete the old folder first. ESO loads everything it finds, and two copies of one add-on is the usual cause of "an add-on has produced an error" on login.
This release downloads from cdn.esoui.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.

Version 3.1.3 (by SimonIllyan 2024-06-30)
- circumvented game bug - GetPOIInfo() returning "Darkshade Caverns I"
for both DC1 and DC2 caused DC2 to never appear on wayshrines lists
Version 3.1.2 (by SimonIllyan 2024-06-16)
- "Jump to Wayshrine" will actually try to jump to current zone
(rather than immediately trying parent zone) in Tideholm, Brass Fortress, Artaeum, Apocrypha

- fixed Scholarium WS not appearing on the WS list

Version 3.0.8 (by SimonIllyan 2024-05-04)
- added "Initial tab" setting to select which tab is selected upon opening map;
"Automatic" means the former behaviour i.e. tab "Wayshrines" when on a wayshrine and "Players" otherwise,
"Last tab" means (rather obviously) the tab that was selected when map was previously closed,
other options force opening a particular tab no matter what
- removed the "verbosity not set" message appearing in chat on deferred logout
Version 3.0.7 (by SimonIllyan 2024-04-06)
- apparently I made an april fool of myself, thinking that previous fix was correct; now I am rather sure it is
Version 3.0.6 (by SimonIllyan 2024-04-01, not published)
- fixed "Jump to Wayshrine" sometimes going to locations without an active wayshrine (delves, dungeons)
Version 3.0.5 (by SimonIllyan 2024-02-29, not published)
- fixed a bug causing "Jump to wayshrine" and "Jump to this zone" sometimes going to a wrong zone
- fixed a (very rare) bug causing Lua errors while verbosity set to level "debug" due to erroneous behaviour of {...} with nil arguments
Version 3.0.4 (by SimonIllyan 2024-02-05)
- update for API 101041
- fixed a bug causing only guildies (not friends nor groups members) to be included in headcount for any given zone
