A modular, lightweight boss encounter addon — timers and warnings without the overhead or the volume.
BigWigs gives you timers and warnings for boss abilities, built around being light and quiet where DBM is comprehensive and loud. It is the boss mod of choice for players who want to configure exactly what they are told and nothing else.
WHAT IT DOES
Per-ability timer bars, configurable warning messages, emphasised warnings for mechanics on you, and range and proximity checking. Everything is per-ability: you can turn off the callouts you do not need for your role and keep the three you do, which on a fight with fifteen tracked abilities is the difference between information and noise.
MODULAR BY DESIGN. The core is small and content is loaded from separate packs per raid tier and expansion, so a Classic player is not loading encounter data for content that does not exist on their client. LittleWigs covers dungeons.
For Classic specifically it is a very common choice, because the encounters are simpler and BigWigs' quieter defaults suit them better.

Installation
THROUGH THE CURSEFORGE APP (recommended)
Install BigWigs and the app will offer the content packs for your client.
MANUAL
1. Download BigWigs and the packs for the content you run.
2. Extract into the AddOns folder for your client flavour.
3. Restart the game.
4. Type /bw to open the options.
SETTING IT UP
Go through the ability list for your role on the fights you actually raid and turn off what you do not need. This is where BigWigs pays off, and skipping it leaves you with an addon much like any other.
This release downloads from curseforge.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
