Some of the functionality will only work if everyone in your raid is using this Addon.
Ready Check Module
On Ready Check you can perform a number of checks on your gear, raidbuffs and spell-cooldowns to make sure you don't accidentally have a wrong item equipped or your cd won't be up on pull.
There is also a clickable popup for your consumables.
Reminders
Your raidleader can import a string from https://wowutils.com/ or https://wowaudit.com/ to automatically share them to you and have it displayed to you at the correct time during an encounter. You can also import them to your personal reminders instead.
An explanation for the import string, should you not want to use wowutils or want to edit the string can be found here: https://i.imgur.com/CtYzbqZ.png
And here is a test-string with each example used at least once:
EncounterID:3306;Difficulty:Mythic;Name:Chimaerus;

Encounter Alerts
Some generic Encounter Alerts can be enabled for each boss. Most of these are just "Reminders" about upcoming mechanics that are important. In some rare cases they might be able to do more.
Aura Tracking
Aura Tracking lets you display relevant debuffs, co-tank debuffs, external buffs and immunities.
You can also create your own custom aura tracking with any of the available blizzard filters or spellid white&blacklisting
Aura Sounds lets you configure sounds for auras applied, removed, or gaining stacks. Sounds can be organized by raid boss, dungeon, or custom category.
Setup Manager
It lets you arrange raid group in either a "default" tank - melee - ranged - healer order or split the group into 2 even setups. For the split it takes role, class and spec into consideration to get the best spread possible (for example if you have 2monks it will split them up to ensure you get the debuff on both sides)
In this section you will also find some tools to automate inviting & promoting players.
Version Checking
You can check the Version Number of an Addon or the contents of the MRT Note of your raid.
The Name of everything is case sensitive and for Addons you have to enter the Name of Addon-FOLDER. For example for this Addon it would be "NorthernSkyRaidTools" - notice no spaces here. You can save all the Addons you want to check in the presets section.
Nicknames
Enabling Nicknames for addons works different for each of them. Mouseover their setting to get an explanation on what you have to do
In short there are probably 2 ways to use this feature:
- Only for yourself. In that case you want to disable all of the Share and Sync Options. Then you can either import(explained in next case) or manually add nicknames you want displayed when clicking on the "Edit Nicknames" option.
- Everyone set their own nickname and have it automatically be shared with your guild. For this you just set your nickname, enable nicknames globally and set both Share Options to "Guild". This is what we will be using.
ABOUT THIS LISTING
This page describes Northern Sky Raid Tools by Reloe. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on CurseForge on 3 October 2026: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/northern-sky-raid-tools
Mythiq.net hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on edge.forgecdn.net, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.
The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq.net only. The source's own figures are not copied here — they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.
Requirements
Game versions
12.1.0
1.60.1
GAME FLAVOUR
This is a retail (modern World of Warcraft) build. It will not work in the Classic clients, which run a different interface API.
INTERFACE VERSION
Built against game version 12.1.0, 1.60.1. After a patch, an addon that has not been updated is flagged out of date; most keep working, and the "Load out of date AddOns" checkbox on the character screen lets you try.
DEPENDENCIES
Some addons need a separate library addon (Ace3, LibStub and friends) that is not bundled. If the addon does not appear in the list in game, a missing dependency is the usual reason.
Installation
1. Quit World of Warcraft completely. The game reads the AddOns folder at launch and will overwrite settings for an addon added while it is running.
2. Download the archive with the button on this page and unzip it.
3. Move the folder — the one with the .toc file in it, not the zip's wrapper folder — into:
World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns
4. Start the game. On the character selection screen, click AddOns and check that it is listed and enabled.
IF IT DOES NOT APPEAR
Nine times out of ten the folder is nested one level too deep. Interface/AddOns/Thing/Thing/Thing.toc will not load; Interface/AddOns/Thing/Thing.toc will.
UPDATING
Delete the old folder before unzipping the new one. Unzipping over the top leaves files behind that the new version no longer expects.
This release downloads from edge.forgecdn.net, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
