Thanks to Diamondback, B25Mitch and others for helping to revive the B25. Thanks to PrimeTheBomber for letting us use his liveries.
INFORMATION (please read before posting questions):
How to fly:
With the aircraft on the runway, Press U for Setting the flaps to takeoff position. Then Throttle up with T while Holding Y to hold position(Rb when using an Xbox Controller). Release the Brakes when the engine holds a steady Rpm of 2400.
Gently pull up the aircraft and let it take off by its self, it should get up the ground above 100mph, if not, pull up a bit more but watch out not to go below 100mph the plane will lose lift and stall.
With a positive rate of climb raise the landing gear with N on the keyboard and level off after avoiding obstacles to gain speed. At that point raise the flaps by pressing U again and reduce throttle to 85% or lower, this will prevent overheating the engines. Maximum air speed is around 340mph anything above can cause structural damage to the plane and a loss of control. Avoid full-deflection manoeuvring above 200mph as this may result in structural damage.
Landing:
Reduce power to 20% and when reaching 170mph press N to extend the landing gear
and U for extending the flaps to landing position once. This will slow the aircraft down to around 140mph. When you are at the landing strip, press G till the engine are in idle power. Pull up to maintain a gradual rate of descent.
If airspeed falls below 130mph, press T to increase power, and then G again to resume gliding. Flare before touch down to avoid wheel or gear strut damage. Aim to touch down at 110mph. Once on the runway, press Y to activate wheel brakes if necessary, the plane will brake at 85% by itself when the throttle is at 0%, at lower speeds it will gradually reduce to brake with 15% brake pressure.
Taxiing:
Taxiing is accomplished by reducing the rpm to 1000 by pressing acute key below the plus and giving around 5% throttle to keep speed below 30mph, for tight turns it is necessary to increase throttle, try to be gentle as possible and try to avoid long periods of acceleration as the plane reaches high speeds fast. As in real life, there is no nosewheel steering so wheel brakes are essential for turning at low speeds. To make a full 180 degree turn, reduce speed to 10km/h, set throttle to 20%, turn fully to the left or right with the rudder. The aircraft will pivot on the locked wheel and the nose wheel will caster. After the turn ensure the nose wheel is straight by taxiing forwards a few metres.
Bombing:
Select 4x500lb bombs from the Ordinance slot in the Ctrl-W parts menu. Open the bomb bay doors using , and press . to release bombs one at a time. Bombs will arm in mid-air when a certain distance from the aircraft, but may still be close enough to cause damage so ensure sufficient altitude to clear the blast. The bomb will then explode after you overfly the target.
For advanced Users:
The plane now has active propeller speed control, the speed at initialization is around 2400 Rpm. Best speed for performance at take off and landing. It is controlled by the keyboard keys + and ‘ . For best taxiing experience it is recommended to lower the rpm to 1000rpm, for short taxing it is not necessary to use this feature but helps you reduce speed and increase control over turning the aircraft on the ground.
Other use cases include reduced heat at cruise by reducing the propeller rpm to 1700rpm and throttle settings around 55%.

ABOUT THIS LISTING
This page describes B25 Mitchell by Joelvb. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on the BeamNG.drive repository on 3 October 2026: https://www.beamng.com/resources/b25-mitchell.2366/
Mythiq.net hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on beamng.com, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.
The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq.net only. The source's own figures are not copied here — they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.
Requirements
BeamNG.drive on a current build. The repository lists a mod as outdated once it stops loading, but a mod written for an older release can still misbehave quietly rather than fail outright — check the resource page for the author's own compatibility note before reporting a fault.
Nothing else is required unless the author says so above. BeamNG mods are self-contained zip archives; there is no loader or framework to install first.
Installation
1. Download the archive with the button on this page. Do NOT unzip it — BeamNG loads mods as zips.
2. Put the zip in your mods folder:
Windows — Documents\BeamNG.drive\\mods
Linux — ~/.local/share/BeamNG.drive//mods
3. Start the game and open the Mod Manager from the main menu to confirm it is listed and active.
4. Vehicles appear in the vehicle selector; maps appear under Freeroam.
UPDATING
Delete the old zip before adding the new one. Two versions of the same mod in the folder is the usual cause of a vehicle appearing twice, or of parts that will not fit together.
IF SOMETHING LOOKS WRONG
Clear the cache: in the Mod Manager, use "Clear cache and restart". Most oddities after an update — missing textures, parts that vanish — are a stale cache rather than a broken mod.
This release downloads from beamng.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
