Reese's Sodium Options replaces Sodium's options screen with an alternate layout and styling focused on a compact, navigable configuration experience.
Modern Sodium already provides a full configuration screen and public options API. RSO is mainly an alternative frontend for users who prefer its tab layout, grouped presentation, styling, and extra quality-of-life controls.

Notes
RSO is a client-side UI replacement for Sodium's options screen. It is not required for Sodium configuration, and it is intended for users who prefer RSO's layout, styling, and quality-of-life behavior.
Sodium Options API is no longer supported on versions where Sodium already provides the relevant options API directly.
Please do not ask CaffeineMC for support with this mod. Reese's Sodium Options has no affiliation with CaffeineMC.

MOD LOADER
This release is built for Fabric. A mod built for one loader will not load under another — Fabric mods do not run on Forge, and vice versa.
GAME VERSION
Built for Minecraft 26.2. Minecraft mods are tied to an exact version: a 1.21.4 build will refuse to load on 1.21.5.
DEPENDENCIES
Check the author's listing for required libraries before you start the game — a missing dependency shows up as a crash on launch, not as a warning.
Installation
1. Install Fabric for the Minecraft version you play, if you have not already.
2. Download the .jar with the button on this page. Do not unzip it — a mod jar is installed as it is.
4. Launch the game with the Fabric profile selected.
ON A SERVER
Anything that changes world generation or gameplay has to be installed on the server as well as on every client. Client-side visual and interface mods do not.
UPDATING
Replace the old .jar rather than adding the new one beside it. Two versions of the same mod in the folder is a crash on launch.
This release downloads from cdn.modrinth.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.
Search improvements
- Improved search-result highlighting with clearer match markers, selection borders, and tooltips for the active result.
- Added a configurable search-result limit.
- Added Shift+Enter to cycle backward through search results; Enter continues cycling forward.
- Added keypad Enter support.
- Fixed search cycling sometimes selecting a result without scrolling it into view, particularly on long pages.
Option controls
- Added an “Always Show Action Buttons” setting.
- Reset and undo buttons can remain visible while unavailable actions are shown as disabled.
Controller support
- Fixed Controlify tab and header cycling position.
