Introduction
TCDCommons is a Minecraft modding API library that features its own GUI system and various events and hooks for the game, as well as utilities that may be useful to mod developers. This API's main purpose is to help optimize and speed up the development of mods, as well as to avoiding re-writing the same code for every mod that needs to do similar things. Please note that because this mod is a library, it may not offer useful front-end features to the user.
Key features
- ๐ฅ๏ธ Robust GUI framework
- โ JSON-based config system
- ๐ฃ Additional 'hooks' useful for modding the game
Dependencies
This mod depends on some other mods that first need to be installed before this mod can be installed. Those dependencies are as follows:
- ๐งต Fabric API - Only if running on Fabric. Not required on NeoForge.
ABOUT THIS LISTING
This page describes TCDCommons API by TheCSDev. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on Modrinth on 26 October 2026: https://modrinth.com/mod/tcdcommons
Mythiq.net hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on cdn.modrinth.com, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.
The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq.net only. The source's own figures are not copied here โ they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.
Requirements
Game version
26.3
MOD LOADER
This release is built for Fabric and Neoforge. A mod built for one loader will not load under another โ Fabric mods do not run on Forge, and vice versa.
GAME VERSION
Built for Minecraft 26.3. Minecraft mods are tied to an exact version: a 1.21.4 build will refuse to load on 1.21.5.
DEPENDENCIES
Check the author's listing for required libraries before you start the game โ a missing dependency shows up as a crash on launch, not as a warning.
Installation
1. Install Fabric for the Minecraft version you play, if you have not already.
2. Download the .jar with the button on this page. Do not unzip it โ a mod jar is installed as it is.
4. Launch the game with the Fabric profile selected.
ON A SERVER
Anything that changes world generation or gameplay has to be installed on the server as well as on every client. Client-side visual and interface mods do not.
UPDATING
Replace the old .jar rather than adding the new one beside it. Two versions of the same mod in the folder is a crash on launch.
This release downloads from cdn.modrinth.com, not from us, so
there is no checksum to compare against. Scan the archive before you unpack it.

Technical API changes
To tackle issues like TheCSDev/betterstats#65, it has been made possible to instantiate TScreenWrapper instances directly.
This resulted in a structural change where TScreen#createWrapperScreen() is not called immediately upon instantiation of a TScreen. Instead, a TScreen will receive its corresponding wrapper instance when either:
- TScreen#getAsScreen() is called, or
- A TScreenWrapper instance is manually instantiated for said TScreen (ex. new TScreenWrapper(myTScreen)).
Therefore, TScreen#getAsScreen() is no longer "pure". If you happen to be a developer using this API, you should keep this in mind.
