A patcher pipeline: pick the patchers you want, and it regenerates one merged compatibility patch for your exact load order every time you run it.
Synthesis runs community-written patchers against your load order and writes their combined output into a single generated plugin. Instead of hunting for a compatibility patch between two specific mods, you run a patcher that derives one from whatever you happen to have installed.
WHAT PATCHERS DO
The published set covers a lot of ground: distributing perks and spells across NPCs from other mods, rebuilding levelled lists, syncing armour and weapon stats to an overhaul, applying an economy rebalance to every item added by anything, propagating enchantments, resolving conflicts between AI packages. Each is a small program with its own settings, and you pick the ones you want in the order you want them.
The point is that the output is regenerated. A hand-made patch describes the load order somebody else had; a Synthesis run describes yours, and re-running it after adding a mod takes a minute rather than a search for whether anyone has published a patch.
It is built on Mutagen, the .NET library for reading and writing Bethesda plugin files, which is also what makes writing your own patcher realistic.
ABOUT THIS LISTING
This page describes Synthesis by Noggog and the Mutagen project. The description and screenshots are the author's own, imported from their listing on GitHub on 14 August 2026: https://github.com/Mutagen-Modding/Synthesis
Mythiq hosts no files for it. The download button goes straight to the release file on github.com, so you are downloading from the author's own host, not from a copy of ours.
The download count, rating and comments on this page start at zero and count Mythiq only. The source's own figures are not copied here — they measure a different site, and a number that cannot be checked against our own ledger is not worth printing.
Requirements
RUNTIME
Needs the .NET runtime, which the first launch will offer to fetch.
RUN IT LAST, AND THROUGH YOUR MANAGER
The Synthesis output plugin belongs at the end of the load order, after LOOT has sorted everything else. Launch Synthesis from Mod Organizer 2 so it sees the mods you actually play with.
FIRST RUN IS SLOW
Each patcher is compiled the first time it is used. Later runs reuse the build.
Installation
1. Download Synthesis.zip and unpack it anywhere outside the game folder.
2. Add Synthesis.exe to your mod manager's executables list and launch it from there.
3. Create a group, add the patchers you want from the repository browser, and set their options.
4. Press Run. The generated plugin appears as a new mod in Mod Organizer; enable it and put it last.
5. Re-run after any change to the load order.
